Week 6 Challenge

So, this is my starting point…for 25-26. It appears that my late start has been complicated by scheduling priorities that are dovetailing with my new PPNs.

I have been in the Master Key Experience class from 2015-16. A decade later…a lot has changed. Now with my new PPNs of True Health and Leaving a Legacy I am completely aware how the universe is conspiring to confirm my choices.

In April of 2025, I was all signed up for the Think and Grow Rich seminar. I was accompanying my wife to Northern California where she was to be the caregiver for my mother-in-law.

I started out with enthusiasm and early in the morning on April 30, I suffered a major heart attack. I had great Wifi in the hospital but the distractions of the week and my health caused me to only be a sporadic participant. This is something that I did not want to be this time.

While getting geared up to make up the time here, I was all set with a schedule this week and on Monday, while at my new Gym and working on my True Health, I received a call that my wife had suffered a major health event.

It turned out to be a Tonic Clonic Seizure. They used to call these Grand Mal Seizures. Now this entire week is made up of commitments for my wife because you are restricted from driving for 3 to 6 months in California.

The thing that has been guiding me the most as I navigate this latest struggle is Scroll 2. I live this day with love in my heart. This scroll I read and listen to in my own voice over and over again.

I have learned that love is giving without expecting a thing in return. Sacrificial love is accepting a loss in my own freedom to express love and now this love is needed by my wife for her and me and my entire family.

It really helps me focus on the heart. Since I am a man that has survived a heart attack, I know that the heart that we are talking about here is not defined as an organ or something that is even organic.

The love in my heart is defined by those in my orbit. The sacrifices made by me on a regular basis for those that I love will not be held as debts or excuses but opportunities to grow and learn more about the gift of giving service.

I live this day with love in my heart.

  • Michael, thank you for sharing this raw and profound piece of your life with us. Your words are a powerful testament to what it truly means to live with love in one’s heart.

The way you are navigating these successive challenges—your own health, and now your wife’s—is nothing short of inspiring. To reframe “sacrificial love” not as a loss of freedom, but as an “opportunity to grow and learn more about the gift of giving service” is a perspective that shifts the entire paradigm. It’s a lesson in grace that many of us need to hear.

Your definition of love, defined by those in your orbit and given without expectation, is the purest form there is. In the midst of life’s chaos, you’ve found a profound and unwavering center.

Please know that your strength and clarity are felt deeply by everyone who reads this. Your family is fortunate to have you. Sending so much strength and love to you and your wife on this journey.

I live this day with love in my heart.

  • Michael, your strength and heart through so much adversity moved me. I admire your persistence and how calmly you’re leading with love even with life challenges. Welcome back and thank you.

  • Hi Michael. Maybe substitute the word service for the sacrifices. From the love in your heart.
