Last week was No Opinion Week, which basically turned me into a polite hostage in my own life. I had no idea how many opinions I throw around until I wasn’t allowed to use any of them.
I spent the whole week smiling like a customer service rep on their last shift, saying things like: “That’s Interesting!” and “hmmm, what a perspective!” Which is Master Key Experience (MKE) code for: I am following the rules, even though I have thoughts…many thoughts.
And just when I had survived that…Week 7 drops in with the 7-Day Mental Diet…No Negative Thoughts…Slip once?…Reset.
The first couple hours, I felt like a mental ninja. Then someone cut me off in traffic and – RESET. Subby basically laughed at me and handed me a fresh stopwatch.
But here is the crazy thing…once I started catching the negativity early, I realized most of it was just old programming…old habit stuff. Not the “I” Haanel talks of, just dusty basement files I never cleaned out.
Every reset wasn’t a failure, it was proof I am finally seeing the thoughts before they run my day. That is the real diet…Awareness…not perfection.
So yeah, last week, I kept my opinions to myself. This week I am keeping negativity on a leash…and slowly but surely…Subby is getting the memo….I am the architect now!!

This is fantastic Todd — you’ve turned the whole experience into comedy and clarity. Your self-awareness is sharp, your resets are proof of progress, and your ability to laugh while rewiring your mind is pure mastery.
You’re not just following the MKE—you’re owning it. Keep going, architect-subby is definitely getting the memo!
Todd, that’s right, it’s Awareness, not perfection. I love how you said, “Subby is getting the memo….I am the architect now!!”. Enjoy this journey!
I enjoyed this – and I can relate.
“Such a powerful insight,Todd! Seeing resets as proof of awareness is everything. Keep building!”
Well done, Todd! You ARE in control!
