Mark J intro to WK 8 class video – “Don’t worry how fast others are going. Only worry about your own progress”
Having been infected with the Red Pencil syndrome before I started school, (Mom was a school teacher), I started the Master Key Experience (MKE) with the mindset of getting the “A” in class.
I ‘knew’ in my head that I needed to learn new information, never expected going in that would be habits ! You mean there is a science and technology dealing with habits? Yikes ! Why didn’t school teacher Momma tell me about that one ! ?
And then Day Boswell told the story of Chris the Ironman competitor. Fresh out of surgery and his body having “Downs Syndrome” he sets the goal of finishing an Ironman race. His plan of attack is to improve 1% per day in the areas he had identified. And he achieved his goal.
OK Planning 1% per day improvement, what are the 1st steps to take? HHHmmmmm
Stay tuned for further updates.

Well done Ralph! Looking forward to updates
This is a great, relatable post, Ralph! The “Red Pencil syndrome” is such a perfect way to describe that need for external validation. Chris the Ironman story is a powerful reminder that massive change doesn’t happen all at once, but in those small, consistent 1% improvements. Looking forward to those further updates!
Well done, Ralph. I was also inspired by that young man doing an Ironman triathlon – amazing!
