minutes remaining

This week, the lesson was written in red on my trading screen: a string of losses that shook my discipline. I broke my promises to myself. The frustration led me to abandon the very habits I had vowed to build. It was a clear sign that my mindset, not just the market, needed a reset.

Returning to Scroll 4 of The Greatest Salesman, the message was my anchor:

“If you intend to make a radical change in your life, you must do so deliberately and better than the next.” Og Mandino

My intended change is to become a disciplined, consistent trader. To do that deliberately, I must strip everything back to the foundation.

My commitment is now this:
One lot. One trade per day. Only when my setup is perfectly aligned.

This is not a limitation; it is my liberation from impulse and emotion. It is the deliberate practice of excellence.

The Scroll’s wisdom echoes powerfully in this decision:

“Never will I forget that many have achieved great wealth and success with only one sales talk, delivered with excellence”. Og Mandino

A single, perfectly executed trade is worth a hundred rushed, emotional ones. Success is not found in the quantity of my actions, but in their quality and precision. I will master this one trade. I will give it my full focus, my best analysis, and my disciplined entry and exit.

But this time, I do not walk this path alone.

I commit to full accountability with my MMA partners and my tribe. I will share my plan, my single trade, and my outcome. This accountability is my scaffold—it holds me upright when my own resolve might waver.

My discipline is no longer a private promise; it is a public pledge to those who share this journey.

Together, we improve not only our strategies but our character. As the Scroll states, we must “constantly improve our manners and grace, for they are the colors to which success is attracted.”

The Path Forward

This week marks a return to the core. I am rebuilding my career on a foundation of patience, precision, and accountability. One trade will restore my confidence. One disciplined action, repeated daily, will rebuild my success.

I trade not for revenge on past losses, but for respect for my future self.
