Being the Observer of Kindness
WOW! Who knew so many random acts of kindness were happening around us every day? When you really think about it, it’s all about love.
As I reflected on this week, I was reminded of two of the greatest commandments given by God: to love Him with all of your heart, mind, and strength—and the second, which is like it, to love your neighbor as yourself.
But who is our neighbor? It’s not just the person who lives next door; it’s everyone around us. When we truly love ourselves, we naturally extend that love to others. And when we love others, kindness follows.
I’m sure we perform kind acts all the time, but often we don’t stop to notice them or give them much thought. That’s Subby at work. We haven’t made a conscious effort to observe or acknowledge these moments.
As a whole, I believe people are kind. However, we become so consumed with our daily routines that we don’t always take the time to fully appreciate the many kind acts that fill our days.
Moving forward, I will be more mindful—intentionally observing and acknowledging the kindness all around me.
I love the quote on the coffee mug from the kindness page:
“If you can be anything, be kind.”
I always keep my promises.
Peace and Love,
Larry Russell

Such proof that what we focus on grows. I love seeing this brought to the forefront of my mind. As one individual said, “the magic everywhere around us.”
To love ourselves and others and kindness follows. Thank you Larry.
Love this insight, Larry! Being the observer changes everything. Here’s to noticing and spreading more kindness. ☕️✨
I love that coffee cup graphic as well. Thanks Larry, for sharing kindness this week!
