Newest Press Release in the Satoriology Series Becomes New York Times Bestseller in Just One Week
Newest Release in the Satoriology Series Becomes New York Times Bestseller in Just One Week. The launch pushed total series sales past 1 million copies, solidifying Satoriology as a breakthrough force in transformational publishing and experiential self-growth.
The Satoriology Series, created by best-selling author and wellness educator Deanne Deaville, emerged as a new category of personal development.
One that merges guided journaling, creativity, spiritual insight, and nervous-system regulation into a fun, interactive, and engaging format that helps readers transform themselves, not just read about it.
Rooted in the Buddhist concept of satori, a sudden intuitive recognition of one’s true nature, the series is designed to spark inner breakthroughs through reflection, coloring, metaphors, and self-observation.
The most recent title in the series reached #1 on the New York Times Bestseller list within a week of publication, catapulting the collection beyond one million copies in the US alone.
Each volume serves as part journal, part workbook, part contemplative practice—offering a balance of science-backed benefits and soul-centered wisdom.
“For years I was climbing a ladder that wasn’t even against the right wall. Satoriology was born the moment I stopped reacting to life and started creating from my true nature,” says Deaville.
“People don’t need more content – they need a way to feel truth land inside them. That’s what this series was created for.”
The series evolved from Deaville’s own decades-long journey through visual storytelling, corporate burnout, off-grid living, breast cancer recovery, spiritual study, and an unrelenting desire for autonomy, meaning, and self-created life.
Though widely distributed through Amazon for global reach, if purchased directly 50% of all proceeds are redirected toward nonprofit initiatives supporting food transparency, health freedom, regenerative farming, and the non-GMO movement.
The success of Satoriology also marked the turning point that allowed Deaville to walk away from a long corporate career.
“The fear of leaving was bigger than the unknown – until the moment the desire to live fully became stronger than the desire to feel safe,” she says. “Once I aligned with purpose, everything that looked difficult became obvious.”
Now living off-grid in Costa Rica among a community of healers, growers, and independent thinkers, Deaville continues writing, hosting retreats, and teaching others how to reclaim agency over their mindset, health, creativity and life direction.
Her eco-friendly dome home is now used for meditation events, writing circles, restorative gatherings, and transformational workshops.
