This week, I set out to focus on the Franklin virtue of Discipline. Yet, as the days unfolded, I found myself wavering. Life became dull, the momentum slowed, and I felt myself slipping away from the habits I had so carefully cultivated over the past 18 weeks.
I didn’t answer my friends in the Master Key Experience (MKE) group. I felt shattered for not following the rules I had set for my DMP (Definite Major Purpose). It was a week of struggle, a week where discipline felt more like a distant ideal than a lived practice.
But here’s what I’ve come to realize: the journey isn’t about perfection—it’s about persistence.
For the first few days, I was on the negative side of the stock market—a humble reminder that not every day is a win. But today, something shifted. I changed my strategy.
I stepped onto the “upward ride” of the market, challenging myself to stick with a new, more intentional approach. My goal? To break even within the next 20 days. And I’m speaking it into existence: good luck to me!
In one of the readings, I came across a powerful reminder: now that we’re in this MKE course—now that we’ve committed to this journey of self-development—we can’t simply step out of the new habits we’re building.
Even if we wanted to, the transformation is already in motion. And if we ever find ourselves drifting, it’s up to us to realign with our own goals.
This course is not just a program—it’s a catalyst. It’s designed to enrich the potential within us, to draw out strengths we didn’t know we had, and to remind us that even on the tough days, we are growing.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve talked a lot about the universe, about trust, about allowing life to unfold. And I believe that even when we stumble, the universe is still working with us.
It’s in the lows that we learn resilience. It’s in the messiness that we find clarity. It’s in the restarts that we build true discipline—not the rigid, perfect kind, but the gentle, forgiving, persistent kind.
So here’s to the weeks that challenge us. Here’s to the strategies that change. Here’s to the community that holds us accountable, even when we go quiet. And here’s to the journey—always unfolding, always teaching, always inviting us to rise again.
Thank you, MKE, for this space to grow, to reflect, and to become.

Well done, with discipline – in doing the work with your stock market strategy and with your blogging! Yay!
You revealed your discipline this week Chandra, in case you didn’t already know 😉
You changed your approach, that is persistence.
Keep going. You’re still on the path, and you’re learning how to move and change faster each time.
Good for you with your trading!
