Letting Go
You cannot get what you lack if you tenaciously cling to what you have.
Nature’s greatest miracle can’t thrive until I wrestle with what the previous sentence means. Ten years ago when I first went through the Master Key Experience, I recognized that this is related to my patterns of living.
My patterns of living are related to my habits. My habits are my blueprint. Some people call it a comfort zone but then why am I always uncomfortable?
There is more to my life than what it has become. As a miracle of nature, I am required to live a miraculous life. I am reminded of the first scroll where it says that good habits are the key to success and bad habits are the unlocked door to failure.
I am paraphrasing here but when it applies…it applies.
The first two sentences in Haanel 15 are also quite compelling. The laws under which we live are designed for our advantage. We must be in harmony with these laws. Those with contempt for the law will find temporary perceived success but soon become a parasite on society.
It is so crazy that I know all of this…but, I don’t put it into practice. It’s nice that we have a new year so that we have an artificial starting point that we can measure with the whole world.
My smart goals with my shapes are on my bathroom mirror. The dates are there and action takes place daily with enthusiasm.
I now reach and attract hundreds of people and I will measure the reach through logs and analytics. It is because of new habits in harmony.
I am now on track to replace my wife’s income through her retirement by implementing service to many through positive interactions one at a time with a goal of completely replacing her income in 3 months.
This means covering a shortfall of $5,000 a month. It happens by staying in harmony and following my bliss.
I am no longer recovering from a heart attack. I am becoming a better person and my goals are not to avoid sickness but to seek health and maintain an active lifestyle. My plan is on the fridge with my dates.
I measure myself weekly through a DEXA type scale and have a goal of June 30 to achieve a weight of 179 lbs. Currently, I have the body of a 65 year old and I am only 63. I am rolling back the clock by supporting good habits in harmony.
I put it off for too long, but in my first Master Key Experience, I decided to visit Hawaii. It took until June of 2023. Now, I want to go back every year.
My plan is on the dashboard of my car and the date is staring me in the face. My next visit will be for Christmas with my newly retired wife. I know it will happen because I will remain in harmony.
There is no turning back. There is no maybe. In the words of Yoda…”Do or Do Not…There is no TRY!”

This one question can change everything!
You write the best comments! Mahalo
This is tremendous insight – let go of what is not working seems easy so difficult if we don’t know what #masterkeyexperience members know – WOW
Great comment Markie very astute!

This is powerful clarity Michael.
You’re not just letting go—you’re choosing alignment, one habit at a time.
Congratulations.
Michael… YOU GET IT! Focusing on what you desire, not what you fear… I love this sentence you declared! ” I am becoming a better person and my goals are not to avoid sickness but to seek health and maintain an active lifestyle. My plan is on the fridge with my dates.” Outstanding
I love how you speak on letting go! You expressed it so well and it is so true we cannot have what we want while clinging to what we have. Bingo Michael!
Thank you for your post!
The clarity and conviction here are palpable! “There is no turning back. There is no maybe.” 🔥 Seeing your plans materialize—from a decade-old Hawaii dream to a concrete Christmas 2026 goal—proves the power of harmony and definite purpose. Your service-based approach to replacing income is a beautiful model. Rooting for you on the scale, in the analytics, and on that beach!
I love this line: ‘Some people call it a comfort zone but then why am I always uncomfortable?’ What a powerful question! Thank you for sharing!
