The brain is an amazing thing. This week, in addition to the Webcast last week that focused on the mind, I was reading Daniel Amen and Wallace Wattles.
All perspectives are great because they all have a common thread on thinking but their terminology is different. Sometimes the problem is in how it is presented and sometimes the most recent technology is NOT the best communication.
I have always resisted the idea that I might have ADD. I guess that I just don’t want to think that I have a disorder. Having read Wattles, I do believe that I have an electric brain vs a magnetic brain.
Dr. Amen would say that I have an overactive limbic system. While I have begun to accept certain things that I stubbornly refuse to deal with…getting movement requires a commitment.
For my true health, I have a team or a tribe as it were. My peeps at the gym weather I meet 3 times a week keep me focused on the fitness aspect.
My health care doctors keep me focused on my nutrition and good habits. My sick care doctors chime in when necessary but I have found them to be somewhat unnecessary recently.
Probably the biggest challenge is the social aspect because I tend to be a loner as many Whites are…still, I can’t truly leave a legacy and let that be an excuse.
Whether it is the 7 Day Mental Diet or killing the ANTs, I have to get in the habit of connecting even if it is just for the sake of connecting. Small steps for some but a giant leap for this White!!

Michael, thank you for sharing your work on connecting. It is hard to expand our horizons. I commend you for making the effort.
