What am I pretending not to know?
I am pretending not to know is the stages that I have been going through to get to the place of –
Aging audaciously, starting over boldly in a new city at 81 need to be acknowledged and handled before I can be –
Filled with joy and satisfaction.
Loving living in my beautiful apartment on 14th floor in Bay Towers surrounded by the artwork that Ed and I collected over the years. Having my heart soar at the beauty I am surrounded by.
Loving making new friends, walking out of apartment and being in a vibrant, cultural community, close to my synagogue.
What I am pretending not to know is that by accepting my shipment when it arrives in a few days and unpacking it and taking the first steps to be part of my new community that I am answering the call of the herald and the possibility of stepping into the unknown with joy, love and a sense of a new adventure unfolding.
I have been pretending not to know that I have guides and mentors and a mastermind group that will speed my transition if only I call upon them.

Keep answering the call of the herald and enjoy the new adventure! And apartment!
Susan, aging audaciously indeed! Your joy and satisfaction are deserved. May your new home be filled with beautiful memories and exciting new beginnings.
Yes, you are certainly on the Hero’s Journey – well done, Susan!
