We just got back last night from our Texas trip. We left last Thursday to San Antonio for a half biz half recreation. We stayed at the Pearl which was amazing, for the first 3 days and then went to the Hyatt where the work thing was at.

Also, very cool spot as it had a floating river, a 2.5 acre man made lake and a golf course on site. Sadly, the stupid ice storm was happening the whole time and all of that was closed. Bummer!

On top of that we got stuck for 2 extra days because DFW airport had cancelled around 15,000 flights. So we should have got home Tuesday night.

When we left on Wednesday our initial flight was set to leave at 1130 and it got pushed to 630 which made us miss our connecting flight, so we just stayed another night in Dallas. Unfortunately, our luggage did not arrive with us, but it was in PDX when we arrived last night so all ended well.

I couldn’t catch the webinar on Sunday because of the event and the NFL games but talk about enthusiasm. Even at the airport with all the chaos I was detached from it all and saw all the different types of enthusiasm.

I watched the replay Thursday night and really loved it. The Hero’s Journey has been one of my favorite weeks in the class since the beginning, but I still haven’t answered the call completely. This time however there was more of a resonation with me than previous years. Not sure why exactly but something felt a little different.

I am still needing to update my DMP and have been really struggling with it but honestly, I haven’t put a lot of thought into it.

I spent some time over my trip to bullet point some things while at the airport on both ends but didn’t bring a laptop to actually resubmit it. Sounds like refusal as I type this out.

I know the next webinar is tomorrow already and I am looking forward to it but I must get to my heart and lock down what it is that I really want.
