Consistent, Visible, and Measurable
Elite sport is applied Master Key Experience (MKE), consistent, visible, and measurable.
Without this level of implementation, there would be no national championships, no European or World Championships, and no Olympic Games.
Last weekend, I attended a parent event organized by the Schweizerischer Ruderverband. My son will compete at the European and World Championships. The athletes are 16 years old, which is why parents are intentionally included in the development process.
In addition, I am his sponsor and coordinate the overall time framework and organization. But above all, what I am there is a learner.
In elite sport, nothing is left to chance. The competition dates are fixed. The question is not whether they will take place — but:
Can I participate?
And do I want to participate?
That is clarity.
That is decision.
That is applied MKE.

Exactly! Well spotted Dorothea, and congrats for your dedication to your son’s dream!
Thank you Chandrashekar!
Thank you, Peaches. Things have been quite busy lately, so my blog posts had to wait a little.
All the nicer to be reading more intensively again and diving back in. 😄✨
“What a powerful real-world example of MKE in action, Dorothea! Nothing left to chance—love it. Best of luck to your son! 🌟👏”
Good to see you back Dorothea. I enjoy reading your blogs and they are always very thought provoking.
Congratulations to your son, what a wonderful achievement and we wish him all the best.
He has you as a mentor, as you say, applied MKE. 👏
