Week 4 of the Master Key hit me right between the “I’s”….see what I did there? The “I” is not my body – that’s just the car I drive around in. It is not my mind – that is just the dashboard and instrument panel.
The real “I” is something deeper, quieter and much more powerful. It is the spiritual driver behind the wheel, the one giving the body and mind their marching orders.
The realization stopped me in my tracks. For years, I have identified with the noise – the thoughts, the habits, the personality quirks, even the frustrations of daily life.
But none of that is me. Those are just programsI have been running. The “I” is the one who gets to write new code.
When I caught a glimpse of that truth, it felt like power surge. The “I” doesn’t stress about Instacart algorithms or traffic lights or the thousand things pulling my attention.
It’s calm, centered, and connected to something infinite. That’s the same”I” that dreams, creates, and builds the life I want – not by force, but by direction.
So now, every time I catch myself saying, “I think” or “I go”, I smile. Because I finally know who’s doing the thinking and who’s doing the going. And it’s not Todd the body or Todd the mind – it is the “I” that runs the whole show.

Brilliant, Todd! 🔥 What a clear, powerful reflection—you’ve captured the essence of true self-awareness with such insight and humor (“hit me right between the I’s” is genius!). The way you describe the “I” as the calm, infinite driver behind the wheel is both grounding and liberating. You can feel the shift from identifying with the noise to embodying the stillness that directs it all. That’s mastery in motion! Keep leaning into that awareness—it’s the space where true creation begins. 🌟🧘♂️💫
“the same I” that dreams, creates, and builds the life I want – not by force, but by direction. Thank you Todd.
Todd, I love how you use the car and driving analogy to explain true “I” who directs and drives our true self! What an epiphany it was for you to see this truth and apply in your day to day life. Powerful engine is turned on, keep going, Todd!
This is great, Todd! You’ve perfectly articulated a feeling so many of us struggle to put into words. That “power surge” when you finally separate yourself from the noise is incredible. It truly is the ultimate software upgrade. Thanks for the powerful reminder of who’s really in the driver’s seat.
