minutes remaining

The week of kindness nears the end, and it is amazing how much kindness we have all experienced in this one week. Imagine what we have started and how much we more kindness that is just waiting to take place.

I especially feel grateful for all the kindness I did witness; however, I am even more grateful for the awareness of how some days I really had to look high and low for kindness.

I did witness some unkindness this week also, even from myself. Perhaps the unkindness felt so unkind because it was “kindness” week.

The reality of two sides to every coin comes to mind as I reflect briefly on that moment of unkindness. If no harm is truly intended, the truth can set us free.

I do find “this new reality” does include a deeper honesty. I find myself speaking with more certainty than I have ever in the past. Confidence in what I think and how I really feel does change communication.

Evermore reason to keep kindness in the forefront with every encounter. As we repeat, the four promises we make “regardless of the brevity.” Touche!

Og shared in Scroll IV,”I have been given eyes to see and a mind to think and now I know a great secret of life for I perceive, at last, that all my problems, discouragements, and heartaches are, in truth, great opportunities in disguise.

I will no longer be fooled by the garments they wear for mine eyes are open. I will look beyond the cloth, and I will not be deceived.”

“I am nature’s greatest miracle.”
