This year, during Thanksgiving prep, we realized we might not have enough meat for everyone. Past me would’ve spiraled…lists, calls, frantic errands. But instead, I heard a line that MKE keeps echoing in me:
“Keep the main thing the main thing.”
The main thing wasn’t turkey. It wasn’t perfection.
It was love.
It was family.
It was gathering around a table—fellowship over food. An evening of pure gratitude.
So we carried on. We laughed about it. We embraced the moment. And wouldn’t you know… there was more than enough. We even packed doggy bags!
Sometimes abundance shows up the moment we stop worrying about scarcity.
