Scheduling Resistance
Surprisingly, I’m finding that scheduling my time seems to be more difficult than I anticipated. I have never worked a regular 9 to 5 work week, but I always stay very productive and usually structure my day.
Developing the habit of scheduling my time seems like putting up a fence or boundary I must stay within like a child in a playpen. I am used to serving others and putting them first.
Also, some of my activities seem difficult to schedule not knowing the amount of time it will truly take to complete. For example, making calls until you talk to a certain amount of people.
We were instructed to notice our resistance, so I am. Although this habit seems restrictive to me, I will continue to work on perfecting it and my attitude about it.

Congrats on your persistance!
Brenda — your honest look at the tension between structure and service really resonated. I appreciated how you’re choosing to face resistance with awareness and commitment. Thank you for sharing.
I too resist this step. Thanks for sharing.
