Remarkably this course has been like exchanging a row boat with paddles with me trying to paddle upstream with the current taking the boat the other way… for a streamlined motorboat. It just makes everything so effortless. Who would’ve thought it could be so easy.
Haanel’s book is profound especially when he speaks of “only in absolute silence may one come into contact with Divinity itself” otherwise the noise and distractions subdue. It reminds me of the water being rough rather than the calm glass like appearance of a peaceful river.
I like the metaphor of, noise and distractions being rough water and absolute silence being calm glass-like water.
