For the last two weeks I had been very compromised in my health and I have been exhausted. So I’ve stepped up to the plate and started pounding it massively. However I’m still not quite out of the woods yet.
Well, this coming weekend is our huge annual customer appreciation weekend celebrating 35 years in business.
So my boss asked me to work late on Friday because a company is coming in to town for a customer training and she wanted me to be there for everybody after the class is over. Well I said yes but I really don’t want to do it just because of how I feel.
Well, interestingly my furnace stopped working last night and while it’s not extremely cold here yet we do have a cold front fast approaching. So I called my furnace man and he can’t come until after 5pm Friday night which is the day of the class. So while it’s not fun having no heat, it also was absolutely the only possible way I could have opted out of that training class.
So I feel as though the universe heard my inner plea and said yes you may stay home to get the rest you need so you can recover. That’s a simple idea that manifested for me. I love it.
Isn’t it weird how it works out? It may not be the way we envisioned it, but it works out. Observing these things is such a gift. Feel better my friend.
