Change Begins the Moment You Say “Yes” Inside
Change doesn’t start on the outside. It begins the moment we internally say “Yes.” Yes to a goal, a decision, a new direction. And that’s exactly what I’m experiencing right now.
Last week, I honestly couldn’t remember by midweek what I had written on my Service Card. By the weekend, I realized that I hadn’t just completed the point I had actually exceeded it. Apparently, my subconscious picked it up faster and more clearly than my conscious mind. A good sign: it got the message.
One of my DMP goals is to have my own car based on one simple and meaningful association:
I want to drive my son to the Rowing European Championships.
This image hasn’t been with me for long. It only emerged when I started the MKE and formulated my DMP. And this weekend, he actually qualified for the European Championships.
Calmly, without much excitement. He enjoys training, even if he hasn’t been doing it at this level for very long.
The European Championships are his goal, and I’m happy to support him. From that support, my desire for a car developed because honestly, organizing everything by train or rental car can be exhausting.
A car, for me, isn’t about possession. It stands for ease, efficiency, and a more fluid family organization. And yes that makes life simply more joyful.
I’m really looking forward to having my own car. 🙂
What impresses me is how quickly the outer world begins to shift once the inner world is clear. The path opens. Doors appear. Things fall into place without being forced.
I’m impressed and curious to see what unfolds next now that my inner “Yes” has clearly picked up momentum.

Oh yes, that’s definitely my intention, with ease, joy, and grace instead of pressure. The inner work may be “sweat-inducing” at times, but it’s absolutely worth it.
Dear Luc,
thank you so much for your encouraging words. They mean a lot to me and help me stay in the flow. I’ll definitely stay the course!
Beautiful example of how fast life moves when the inner “yes” is motivational Dorothea. Your subconscious clearly got the message, and the outer results are amazign — your son qualifying, your goals syncing effortlessly, and the car becoming a symbol of ease rather than pressure.
You’re in the flow now. Keep saying “yes” on the inside — everything else is rising to meet where you are. Good for you 🙂
Looking forward to what unfolds next! Congrats to your son on qualifying!
Here is another item of your DMP which is approaching completion, you are currently “in the flow”! In these moments indeed, things seem to happen effortlessly, because the universal laws are on our side…The main challenge for most of us when we are in the flow is…to stay in! And the best way to do this is to constantly remind ourself that we deserve it…And you deserve it Dorothea, do you know how I know this for sure? Easy: it’s just because “you do the job” and the Universe has started to respond to your earnest demands! Congratulations and stay the course!
Yes, it truly is touching! Thank you Chandrashekar!
The roads and doors that open up when we are in alignment with our best self, are incredible. I can’t wait to read about you driving him there. Amazing job on him Qualifying!!!
This is so wonderful to read, Dorothea! Congratulations to your son on his qualification! It’s incredible how the universe responds when we get clear on our “Why.” Your car is no longer a want, but a necessity for your next joyful chapter, and it’s clearly on its way. Keep us posted!
