There have been many times throughout my week when I say to myself, “brick by brick.” Of course this comes from the great Og Mandino in the Greatest Salesman:

“I will build my castle one brick at a time for I know that small attempts, repeated, will complete any undertaking.”

I will see evidence of this everywhere. As my husband cheers for his football team I say, “brick by brick.” Soon they won the football game. As I look at a business I am impressed by, I think to myself, they built that brick by brick. As I workout in the gym and increase my reps… brick by brick.

This has become a beautiful mantra to me. It is a reminder that small steps create the castle. It is a reminder to hold my faith and to always persist, even in the unknown.
