This morning, I awoke determined to realign my commitments and rise to the demands of my life. There are weeks when exhaustion clouds my vision, yet I stretch, I move, and I shift my energy, reminding myself that I am stronger than the fatigue I feel.

My mind whispers that perhaps I should slow down, rest, and take things easier. Yet the truth is, life is calling me to reach higher than ever before, and the pain of where I have been has ensured all boats are burned so there is no retreat.

I have set a bold and daunting goal for the next twelve months. If I follow my system and take the actions required, “I will achieve it. I will persist, I will continue to try, and I will continue to charge forward until I succeed. I will persist until I succeed.”

Along the way, I will face obstacles, my emotions, doubts, and resistance are like the pricks of the lance from a picador, and yet I continue to charge, showing my willingness to move forward in spite of the sting.

I will stop listening to the voices inside me that weep and complain, for these voices are not mine. I know how such voices cause disease and are contagious, they are not for me.

Everyday actions, followed consistently from my system, are a mighty blow that, when persistent, will destroy any resistance I face. This is my training ground, the space where I master my tools and my mind like never before.
