minutes remaining

One of the things that I included on my DMP early on in the Master Key Experience (MKE) relates to my home and the environment I sought to create. I became a first-time home owner this past summer, along with my husband.

Maintaining a peaceful, clean home environment has always been something I’ve strived for and often struggled with. The wording in my DMP has changed a bit with each revision:

“an organized and inspiring environment”
“My home is vibrant and alive”
“I feel at peace when I enter”
“a place of rest, creation and laughter”
“a place of restoration, peace and freedom”
“clutter-free yet alive with music, colors, plants, books and ideas”
“My home is a sanctuary”

This past week I was home for Spring break. I practiced silence for 48 hours early on in the week. I didn’t talk or use my phone, my computer, or radio. I was at home with silence. The remainder of the week, while not in silence, I had the opportunity to be home much of the time.

I found such satisfaction and peace in seeing the environment that I envisioned being manifested. All of the things have found a place. My home is vibrant and warm. I walked in the door today and felt peace.

I realized I started creating this way back when I wrote my early DMPs. Even though some of the words and descriptions didn’t remain on later revisions, they still found their way into my present reality!

For example, not long after I had written about my home being full of plants, a client of my husband gave us a bunch of lovely houseplants that she no longer wanted.

I have always thought that if I could just get my house organized and in order, that I would feel more inner clarity, peace and fulfillment. Now I realize that the converse is actually true.

As we have read and learned these past 6 months, our inner reality is what creates our environment. My home is a beautiful reminder, a reflection of the peace and clarity that I have found within.
