There comes a time when learning new things that it is necessary to “put it to the test.” This week I took the opportunity to test a specific principle in the Master Key Part 22: Section 4
If there is any physical condition which it is necessary to change, the law governing visualization will be found effective. Make a mental image of physical perfection, hold it in the mind until absorbed by the consciousness. Many have eliminated chronic ailments in a few weeks by this method, and thousands have overcome and destroyed all manner of ordinary physical disturbances by this method in a few days, sometimes in a few minutes. It was last portion that really jumped out at me.
And here’s why. For years, I have struggled on and off with chronic sinus problems. Recently, I have resorted to using a heating pad every single evening to minimize the need for sinus pills. On more occasions than I’d like, I often would need sinus pills to relieve the pressure.
Well, this passage was a challenge. I loved the idea that I could eliminate a chronic ailment, but would it work? This is an anatomic thing, right? How would thinking differently alter the function of my malformed sinuses?
Despite those thoughts, I proceeded with my experiment with gusto. I repeated “I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy” more times than I can count.
And every time I felt a sniffle or any pressure or strange feeling in my sinuses, I got to thinking about the perfect function of my sinus and repeated that mantra again. “I am whole, perfect…” I even visualized clear, open sinuses.
Since that decision to engage in this experiment, I have not used any sinus pills, nor have I used my sinus heating pad. And this is quite significant, because I took a 6-day trip to Cuba which is challenging in every way, but airline travel often instigates sinus troubles for me. Not this time.
I was tempted once to pop a pill…out of fear…but I instead focused my thoughts on perfectly functioning sinuses and my mantra.
Overall, a successful experiment. 😀

That’s amazing, Amy! What a wonderful experiment, very successful:)
