I wrote this a couple months ago and submitted something different instead.
Meditating on the flower. A prairie cone flower is my flower. In the late summer and fall the seed from the flower has ripened and birds, primarily gold finches in my area, eat the seed off the flower head.
Some of those seeds fall to the ground where they become cured (my word) by the cold winter weather in my region. They are buried by leaves, dirt, the snow. In the spring the little seed begins warming in the soil with the spring sun.
The seed puts down roots, it rains, the seed gains nourishment/vitality and warmth from the sun and the water and the soil and from other energies present in the earth. The roots anchor the seed, and a tiny sprout emerges from the ground.
The seed has become a plant. The sprout stem grows taller and gains strength being blown on by the wind. Leaves have appeared which collect more sun. The plant continues to grow taller and gain strength with nourishment from the soil, sun, water, wind and other earth energy.
The plant forms a flower bud and continues to grow. Soon the bud opens and bees and other insects eat the flowers nectar and pollinate the plant. The flower now has new seeds and the process begins again.
This plant isn’t thinking about its circumstances. It simply grows, being in harmony with Universal Mind. We are learning that we can change ourselves through our thoughts.
Our blossom is action. The actions of reading, studying the Laws of the Mind, the index cards to train subby and more are our gateway to universal mind. And action, our flower, is the path to attain our goals (DMP).

I love how you are connecting the dots from the lessons, Ron!
