As someone who has always identified herself as a loner, I am finding a sense of community that I enjoy in our polo group.
I’m grateful for the shares people are doing. Sharing about their challenges, insecurities, and victories!
I can still feel the resistance to being in a group, but I find myself anxious to return to it to see how everyone is doing. It is just about how we feel; how we are creating our lives.
It has nothing to do with where we live, how we dress, what kind of car we drive. It’s not about the material things that people are so caught up with… at least in my community.
I’m grateful for a place to go and be with like-minded people who are also on the journey. Thank you to our tribe.

It’s wonderful how you’re letting yourself ease into connection without losing your sense of self. That mix of resistance and longing to return is a real sign of growth Cheryl.
You’ve found a community where people show up with honesty instead of image, and it makes sense that it feels good. Your gratitude — and your courage to keep showing up — say a lot about how far you’ve come.
Cheryl, this is beautifully expressed. As someone who shares this tribe with you, I felt every word. I’ve also known the comfort of being a loner, and the surprising joy of finding a circle where the connection runs deeper than surface-level things. It’s a gift to witness and share in the honest journeys of everyone here—the challenges, the wins, the real, raw process of creating our lives. Thank you for reminding us all what this community is truly about. Grateful to be on this path with you.
Yes, Cheryl, “Quan Tribe” is amazing! I am so grateful to be part of this great community of beautiful souls! Thank you!
I can so relate to your share this week Cheryl. Thank you for sharing your blog this week.
Enjoy the journey
Well said, Cheryl. Like you, I can identify as a loner, but do see the value in this amazing community.
