This is my week 9 Blog. I went away for Thanksgiving without my computer and realized today that today, so here it is. I have been blogging faithfully every week and I have been using the practice to reflect on what’s going on in my life and in the Master Key Experience.

My DMP and my PPN’s are still works in progress or in process, depending on how on how I want to look at it. Reading that sentence over, I say that both ways give me power.

I am making progress and they are both still works in process. It is interesting to write something and pause to see how it I feel about it.

I enjoyed the zoom Mark had in place of this week’s webinar. In one of the videos he showed, they talked about our early programming.

I saw that in first grade, when I was trying to draw a duck for the farm frieze we were doing, that somehow, I got the idea that I wasn’t creative.

I think it may have been lurking in the background ever since. Maybe that’s why I’m having trouble figuring out what I really want and what my definite major purpose is. Time to break free of that programming.

The part of the course that resonates most for me is the scroll we are finishing today, November 30. I do “greet the day with love in my heart”.

Linking that to reading the laws of giving and receiving and putting them into action daily is something that has become a part of me.

I enjoy having the reminder to do things that make a difference. I mentioned in a previous blog that when people say “have a nice day”, it is my practice to say “I am having a nice day because you helped me or because I met you”.

The reaction I get every time warms my heart and makes me want to share it. Do you do something similar? I’d love to know.

I am inspired by the part that says, “I zealously inspect all things which enter my body, my mind, my soul and my heart.” It is about self-care and self-respect and reminds me to be gentle with myself, take care of myself, learn, grow and nurture myself.

  • Susan, how wonderful that you say “both ways give me power” as you reflect on your Definite Major Purpose (DMP) write up with its Pivotal Personal Needs (PPNs). And applause for using your power when you say, when people say to you “Have a Nice Day,” “‘I am having a nice day because you helped me or because I met you'”. So great!

  • Thank you for sharing this.Your story about the duck drawing resonates deeply. I love how you actively create connection with your “have a nice day” response. Wishing you continued growth and clarity!

  • This is wonderful, Susan! I especially like your response to ‘Have a nice day’ – most of us gloss over this and just say ‘You, too’ – I plan to try something similar going forward!
