Last night, I watched a video of one of my team leaders in my mlm company. She is fabulous! A Health, Wellness and Life Coach, she is always sharing tidbits of encouragement, information, and suggestions. She is fit, energetic and genuine. She walks the talk!

It was a video made that morning. She is in Florida at a company event. Staying in a beautiful rental house on the beach. Her message to us is that your Thoughts become Your Feelings. Hmmm, I believe I have heard that in MKE!

She showed a book full of oceanic pictures, beautiful pictures of sea life, plants, reefs, etc. Several books like this were on display throughout the house. Her point is that the owners want you to relate beauty with their house.

When you think of your visit there, you will think of the beautiful pictures, the beach, the sun and it will make you happy and want to come back. She went further to tell us that what we think about becomes our feelings.

If we listen to the television, the radio, social media, chatter among people and take from it the CRAP that is out there, then that is what you will carry around with you.

If you feed yourself positiveness, happy, achievement, beauty, envision yourself being who and what you want to be, then achieving those things are much easier.

I adore this lady and sometimes, I find myself feeling jealous of her. Now, we know that is the concrete, the Buddha. I know better than to “feel” that way. I also realize why I am jealous.

I was/am in the same field as she is (health, wellness, fitness, coaching) though massage is my main source of income. In my twenties an thirties, I dreamt of making fitness videos, writing books on fitness for specific groups of individuals.

I never did. I know the same information, same knowledge, had the same enthusiasm. Over the years, the enthusiasm faded, belief in myself faded. I focused on other responsibilities and abided by what my spouse wanted of me. Shame on me!!

The scattered books throughout the house is the same as our cards, shapes and colors. Putting them in our line of vision, all around us, Focus on the goal, the desired outcome, visualize being what I want to be.

I knew in high school that I wanted to become a PE teacher and Coach volleyball and track & field. I did that. I wanted to run a marathon. I planned, I trained, I had an occasional training partner (masterminding) and then I did it!

I wanted to start a cross country program at the school I taught at, with help of colleagues, I did that. I knew I needed to divorce my first husband for my safety and wellbeing. As young mother of three on a teacher’s salary, no master’s degree, I was scared to death!

I did it and thrived. There came a time in my teaching career I wanted out. It wasn’t teaching anymore. I wanted to become a massage therapist and I did. I started my own business after a few years.

My point (mostly to myself) is that I have had desires, set goals then went after them and achieved them. Earning a six-figure income (or more) however, has eluded me. My relationship with money needs to improve.

I believe that I may not have been focusing on the things I need to as well as letting go of things, ideals that no longer serve my desires.

My wish is not to “compete” with my team leader, but to join her. I must give myself permission to believe I can!
