When I’m grasping to stay centered
In the winds and gusts of the unlikely,
the unexpected, the undesired issues of my life
And I question if I really can be what I will to be
And I ask is it even my will,
Or is it something beyond me
That determines my destiny.
When in silence I sit
Then I see
That it was only the river of misguided dreams
Which failed to expect, even desire these gusty winds
That my destiny is indeed sewn in wonder,
Engraved on my heart
And so my will,
When aligned,
Sings in harmony
With That Which is Beyond me.

So beautifully written…thanks for sharing
Oh my goodness this just made my heart full 🥰
It’s beautiful for us to experience your creative expression within this MKE journey, Amy. I’m grateful you have the freedom to share with us. I love the idea of broadening the poetry with music, too!
No, but what a lovely idea!
You are indeed worthy Amy! Worthy of it all! The worlds you dream and beyond.
Inspiring Amy. Thank you

Wow! Lovely writing Amy.
Did you write a musical accompaniment to this? Hope so! 🎶
The sit really helps keep us aligned with our Dharma.
