I logged into the Zoom call last week feeling the way I often do—a mix of excitement and a slight, nagging sense of being behind. My DMP felt a little distant, and my old habit of procrastinating on my creative work had been whispering in my ear all week. I was there to learn, to get a little fuel from the Mastermind Alliance.
What I didn’t expect was to be completely disarmed by the raw, human wisdom that unfolded over the next 60 minutes. Judith was there with me, and we were about to witness something special: our guides—Peaches, Luc, Drew, and Benjamin—not as teachers on a stage, but as fellow travelers, maps in hand, sharing their own journeys.
The Circle Forms
Peaches opened the call with her warm, grounding presence. But instead of taking the floor, she did something that immediately changed the energy. She turned to Luc and invited him to start.
It was a simple act, but it felt profound. It dissolved the invisible line between “them” and “us” before a single word of wisdom was even shared. We were simply a circle of people about to share stories.
The Guides’ Table: Wisdom That Felt Like a Lifeline
Luc Griffith spoke first, and his words hit me right in a sore spot I hadn’t even named. “You don’t have to eat the whole feast to be nourished,” he said. I felt my shoulders drop. That’s it, I thought. I’ve been trying to devour the entire seven-course meal in one sitting and then beating myself up when I can’t.
His perspective—that consistent application of just one law, one exercise, could yield incredible benefits—was a permission slip I didn’t know I needed. Progress, not perfection. I wrote that down in all caps.
Then he said something that will be etched in my mind: “I’ve been walking this path for eleven years, and I want you to know: I am still a learner.” Eleven years. And he still sees himself as a student. It was the most humbling and empowering thing I’d heard. It made this journey feel expansive and lifelong, not like a race to a finish line.
Peaches shared next, and she radiated a kind of integrated peace I aspire to. She spoke about the Law of Giving as her “default setting.” It wasn’t something she does; it’s who she is.
She sees the world through the lens of MKE principles, and it makes everything more “vibrant and connected.” Listening to her, I realized my own practice was still a bit transactional—I “do” the giving exercise. She showed me the destination, where it simply becomes the air you breathe.
Drew brought it back to the practical nuts and bolts, and I was leaning in. He called the DMP my “True North” and the Mental Diet the work of “clearing the clouds.” This resonated so deeply. My mental skies had been cloudy all week!
“I still have to consciously practice turning my thoughts from what I don’t want to what I do want,” he admitted. “It’s a muscle.” Hearing a guide say he still has to work that muscle was incredibly validating. It’s not that the masters don’t have the thoughts; it’s that they’ve mastered the process of redirecting them.
Then, Benjamin spoke, and it felt like he was looking directly at my week. He talked about the days when you just don’t want to do your sits. I nodded vigorously. “But those are often the most important days to do it,” he said. He called it the “quiet, cumulative power of the daily ‘drip.’”
He re framed consistency not as a chore, but as a way to build self-trust. Every time I show up for myself when it’s hard, I’m proving my commitment to my new blueprint. This shifted everything for me. It’s not about feeling motivated; it’s about being trustworthy to myself.
My Canvas: A Smudge Becomes a Mark of Progress
Hearing their vulnerability gave me the courage to share my own. I opened up about my creative struggle, how procrastination was trying to hijack my movie. But this time, saying it out loud in this space, it didn’t feel like a failure. It felt like a data point.
Thanks to their re framing, I saw it not as a character flaw, but as a mental habit—a muscle that needs retraining. The shame around it simply vanished.
Then Judith shared her beautiful “drip system” revelation about the readings, and it was another collective gasp moment. Yes! We’re watering the seeds even on the days we can’t see the sun.
My Takeaway: Fed by the Crumbs
In just one hour, the hierarchy completely melted away. Luc was right—I don’t need the whole feast. That call was a nourishing meal in itself.
I left with my own “crumbs” to sustain me:
· From Luc: Permission to taste, not gorge.
· From Peaches: A vision of the integrated, vibrant life.
· From Drew: The practical tools to clear my cloudy skies.
· From Benjamin: The honor in showing up, especially when it’s hard.
I am not just a student taking a course. I am a new member of a living, growing tradition, guided by the most incredible people who are still, delightfully and deliberately, learning right alongside me.
With a heart full of gratitude,

This was a very necessary read for me. I too have come to the realization that this is a lifelong journey not just a destination. Thank you
Thank you for sharing the crumbs!
I had a 94 year old riding instructor who always said he was still learning from every horse, rider and every step.
Chandrashekar, I almost hear the voice of Deepak Chopra when I read what you have written. MKE is lucky to have you!
Hey Chandrashekar, thank you to let us, guides, see ourselves for a few minutes through the eyes of a member, that’s really cool! And congratulations for your capacity to observe, remember and synthetize, these are precious skills on the path of self-discovery. You are definitely on the right track, and thank you again for this great masterminding experience!
What incredible take aways from some incredible leaders.
