Life happens when you’re busy making other plans….

I’ve fallen off the wagon a little. Life has a way of interfering with our plans….as the saying goes, we make plans and God laughs.

I brought printouts on my trip – and I remember saying “do it now, do it now, DO IT NOW!” 25 times on my flight, while noticing the blue rectangle on the safety document in the seat in front of me – plus every other seat in every row.

But what am I linking the blue rectangle to? Or the red circle? I’m noticing them, but not linking. I find myself wanting to make it into that, telling myself it’s a rather dark fuchsia, close to red…. Does that count?

What happened after that long travel day, I don’t really remember other than responding to what was needed in the moment. I thought of Og, my DMP, my blueprint builder as I went to sleep and again when I woke up. Then off and running for the day, and repeat…. Thought of it as I drifted off.

But with a quiet morning (for the moment) I found my printouts and today is a new day. So I missed a couple of days of the required readings. Still noticing the shapes and “do it now” is in my head – but back on track with the readings as well.

I am remembering to be kind to myself, as sometimes the unexpected pops up. As John Lennon said, “Life is what happens when we’re busy making other plans.”

  • “This is such a powerful and honest share. Thank you.
‘Life is what happens when we’re busy making other plans’ is so true, and your gentle return to your printouts this morning is the real work. The fact that you were still noticing the shapes and hearing ‘do it now’ even on a chaotic travel day proves the seeds are being planted deep. The linking will come. Be kind to yourself—you’re exactly where you need to be.”

  • The synapses was still happening if you were noticing those shapes. Good work bringing yourself back to the full lesson gracefully!

  • Well done, Deanne! Every day is a new day, another opportunity to re-commit, excellent!
