The sit has been an interesting evolution for me. The first time I did Master Key Experience (MKE) last year, the sit was incredibly challenging. At first, I couldn’t sit still; not even for 5 minutes! Eventually I mastered it, and it came to become something I looked forward to.
This year starting over, I’m noticing different things. I didn’t have a problem with sitting for 15 minutes, but the concept of clearing my mind since the second week has been interesting.
I can clear it for longer than I expected, however the thoughts that pop into my head have really surprised me. Many of the thoughts are from long ago and are about people and events I haven’t thought about in a very long time. I don’t quite understand it.
Some of the thoughts are pleasant, and some are challenging. They’re not all from the past. Enough of them are that I’m curious about it.
For me, the sit is symbolic of everything else I’m finding of value in this process. It’s about control. Not control in a bad sense, but control as in mastery.
I feel incomplete if I haven’t done my sit during the day.

That’s great, Cheryl how you have built the habit of SIT that you feel incomplete without it. Keep it going with mastering your mind!
