Leaving behind many years of daily routines, habits and familiarities, friends and enemies, labeled by many as the action of “Retirement”, which I romanticized with for many years, is the only way I can describe a life that I had so desirably wanted to change and leave behind.
This shift led to major psychological and emotional challenges, as well as financial and legal fallouts, collectively referred to “retirement syndrome”. I do not define myself from what was left behind but by the many steps I have taken in the preparation of a new pathway.
For many years my conscious desires kept clashing with my subconscious actions, leading me to experience self-sabotage, frustration and an inner tug-of-war.
My personal tug-of-war kept me trapped in fear and spinning in circles and causing me to fail in achieving my goals. I had such a disconnect, because my actions didn’t match my intentions.
A friend’s invitation to a workshop lead by Mark Januszewski, who in turn introduced me a program he and the fabulous Davene, “his Wife”, and assistant Lori teach , they are personal growth experts.
Based on the principals of Charles F. Haanel’s the Master Key System. This is where my “Aha” moment began, the antidote: Intentional living.
Where I have come to the realization that this isn’t the result of a lack of willpower but a conflict of the two systems, conscious and subconscious in learning achieving harmony means aligning my conscious intentions with my subconscious deeper programming for more intuitive decision-making and inner peace, purpose, proactive practices that go beyond finances.
The specific practices that I am to follow and maintain daily will start bridging the gap. My shift in mindset is bringing me into harmony with the whole, what matters, my purpose, manifesting my superpower. I feel more at ease and at peace now that I am on this journey.
My inner child is alive.
